Are you committed to helping young women learn how to manage their money and run their own businesses?

At Phoenix Training & Development (PTD) we specialize in introducing teen women to the excitement and challenges of financial literacy, business, and entrepreneurship as a pathway to their financial independence and economic sufficiency.

  • Statistics show that 90% of all women will be solely responsible for their financial support at some point in their lives.
  • 75% of the elderly poor in the US are women
  • 53% of generation X females live paycheck to paycheck

It’s imperative that today’s youth become economically literate and responsible for their financial well-being at the onset of adulthood. Good interviewing skills, a good work ethic, and resume writing are not enough. Young people today must learn to initiate work projects and revenue producing enterprises as a vital aspect of financial as opposed to job security.

We’ve carefully designed our programs around the interest of girls. Placing a premium on listening to the specific challenges that young ladies face in today’s society enables Phoenix Training & Development to respond with a unique approach that delivers unquestionable value.

Our programs won’t produce instant entrepreneurs or millionaires, they will however introduce girls:

  • to an economic way of thinking
  • an increased knowledge base with the language of business and entrepreneurship
  • to the idea of ownership and the tools of economic independence and security
  • to the ability to make a job and not just take a job

Financial literacy is economic self-defense. Along with reading, writing, and arithmetic as parents, educators, mentors, and community we have a collective responsibility to the next generation of young women to facilitate the skills and decision making processes needed to navigate the waters of economic stablity.

Girls exposed to an ‘economic way of thinking’ are more self-confident and capable of making smart financial decisions. They are also better at building solid careers, and acting as informed citizens. In other words, when they gain an understanding of how the ‘real world’ works, they improve their prospects for better lives in it.

At Phoenix Training and Development we bring insight, passion, and intelligence to every assignment. Let us help you help the young women in your organization be better prepared for long-term economic empowerment!
